Peace2U Posted May 2, 2016 #1 Share Posted May 2, 2016 We are sailing this August on Ruby Princess and can't decide which excursion to take. It's between the White Pass Scenic Railway (3.5 hours $130) and To the Klondike Summit (1.5 hours $40). What do you think?

You can step out on the back and take pictures all along the way. With the road you may be stopping to take pictures but the train experience is more unique. Rare Coral Posted May 2, 2016 #3 Share Posted May 2, 2016 (edited) The $40 trip doesn't get you far! It is not worth it, regardless if you do any other trip. If you are interested in a bus trip, pick the one that goes into the Yukon. The train is a great trip. There are some combo trips with a private vendor worth looking at: https://chilkootcharters.com Edited May 2, 2016 by Coral

It barely is out of Skagway. Edited May 3, 2016 by Coral
