Carnival Miracle - Deck 1

Before I get the " Search other threads" I would you all to know that I have spent the last 10 minutes looking + have not found anything. :)

I have read that the Miracle is a very shaky ship. I could honestly care less since I feel like a baby being rocked to sleep when it comes to ships like that... however I am curious to hear about other peoples opinion of their room location on Deck 1 and what they experienced since I have never been on that particular ship.

Last summer I was in the most forward cabin on the port side. It was really close to the comedy club and we were afraid it might get too noisy. However, it never bothered us and we found this to be super easy access to the stairs and, being only one flight down from all the action, we were quick to get where we needed to go without having to wait for the elevators. The only drawback was that during the daytime the comedy club features karaoke and we were forced to suffer through it going to and from our room. I would still book it again in a heartbeat.

FYI the severe vibration is in the aft part of the ship...I would avoid the very back.

My wife and I were on the Miracle for the January 2015 cruise to Hawaii. Our room was on Deck 1 midship and we felt no vibration at all. However, on the aft of the ship, especially in the Dining Room, the vibrations were significant.

I think as long as you avoid the back of the ship you should be fine.

Just be careful of the galley above some of the cabins.

Another reason to stay in the middle or forward. Fortunately the Miracle only has one dining room (Aft). Deck one is totally the best way to go. Casino, coffee bar, red frog pub, atrium, guest services and more are all on deck two and easy to get to. Other than the outdoor pools, everything is on decks 1-3.
