Hi, is the Mongolian Wok still there and open for lunch?

I ask because you didn't mention it and someone else posted the Fun Times and it wasn't listed under the lunch options.

TIA

Yes it is, in the buffet. It's and omelette station in the AM, and wok later see below

Wow, thank you. They have that large an omelet station, amazing. I wouldn't have thought to look there for the Mongolian Wok during lunch either so your answer is a big help for us. Thanks again

I don't think the person can. I checked my own posts, the posts in question that I made are gone.

Interesting. All the posts on this thread (and all others) that sound so familiar now have a different user name.

I saw that too while looking around:D But I see no new ones since that day. Are you referring to a 6 in the name?

Yup. Will be interesting to see if this "new" poster has as many contradictions and also implies that the rest of us are beneath her. Or maybe she's decided lesson learned and is trying to turn over a new leaf. Doubt it though.

We tried Guys burgers several times. We enjoyed it  What makes them even better is they are included in the price of the cruise fare whereas Johnnie Rockets on Royal Caribbean is now 6.95 per person now I believe. The burgers were just fine and everything most people say they were. I liked the fries as well.

.

just want to mention Johnnie Rockets is a service restaurant, where the food is served to you, thus the service charge.

Guys is just a self serve stand with lines where you do all the work, and you don't tip, although it is included in your alternative dining tips.

If "all that work" is too much for you, I'll stand in line, get yours and bring it to you for $6.95:D

You can save all that tip money too by avoiding the steakhouse, Italian and Chinese restaurants. It's personal choice

And on Royal, if you don't want to be served a burger, you can also get one for free in the Windjammer by standing in line as well, only a lot shorter.

Standing in line for a windjammer burger is a terrible choice.

Johhny rockets isn't as good as Guy's (when guy's are cooked like they were on Magic) but its way better than a windjammer or a Carnival grill burger.

All the work - except prep, cook, prepare and serve. If you ask for a specific burger, not just a plain jane then they do plenty of work for you.

It use to be included. Then it went to 3.95 - 4.95 - 5.95 and I hear now 6.95. I'll wait in a short line and get what I want :). Guys > JR's IMO and included. That was my point :)

Really enjoyed your review. Unfortunately, because of some sort of blocking software in my office, I can't see the pictures, but will try later on from home.

Glad to see you cruising...I'm assuming you left your dog home? I remember you posting at one point about not taking your dog with you when you cruised.

I knew that. Guess my sarcasm wasn't as clear as I thought it was. And interestingly, one of the latest posts gives a good comparison between CCL and RC without putting anyone down. New leaf perhaps.

I don't think it's her who wrote it. It was too well written. I think it might be the daughter who has assumed all the posts under her name. If you go to the statistics page, there are differences in the cruise list and some information. Either way, it's weird and they think we've been fooled.:)

True. That last review was very well written compared to prior posts. Hadn't noticed that.

Thank you SO MUCH for this review! We will be going in January, which is so stinkin far away.

One of the reasons I so appreciate this review is that my mom will be having hip replacement surgery at the end of this month and is worried about her mobility (it's a complicated one). I keep telling her she's going to have a blast regardless, but this has really helped. I work as a rehab nurse and know just how mobile you can be in a wheelchair, but she doesn't have that experience. Pft, she doesn't even believe yet that this surgery is actually going to fix her hip. Seeing you enjoying your cruise to the fullest on wheels has been great.

Sigh. Did I mention it's too far away?

Anyway, I know how long it takes to type any review out, so thank you very much again for sharing your experience and photos!

Thank you! I was wondering where the omelette station was. It's not located on the deck plans or listed as an option in the Fun Times.
