Beautiful pictures. Do you do Barcelona and florence pisa on your own or off the ship? My sister and I are thinking of doing Barcelona on own . Florence and pisa we are doing off the ship on our own with the smartphone.

We did the ports on our own. Barcelona was easy since we arrived the day before. Even the rest of the ports, were pretty straight forward.

For Pisa and Florence, the train station is a 20 minute walk. From there you can go to Pisa. It will take about an hour. From Pisa you can take the train to Florence. That will also take an hour.

 

I have to admit, it is a bit rushed. We ended up seeing a few sites and spending 15 minutes in each.

 

Honestly, there isn't much to Pisa. It's just the tower and the church next to it. Florence on the other hand is beautiful. So many places and sites to see.

By the way, taking the trains and buying tickets and finding platforms are very easy. Everything is well labeled and the vending machines for the tickets have an English options.
