nissach Posted May 9, 2016 #1 Share Posted May 9, 2016 How come there are no Europe cruises listed yet for summer 2017?? Most itineraries can booked up to 2 years out...why not Europe?? Any feedback would be most appreciated.:)
SJNB Posted May 9, 2016 #2 Share Posted May 9, 2016 (edited) Carnival usually only sails from Europe when they launch a new ship. The last time they sailed was the Sunshine. Edited May 9, 2016 by SJNB
cruizinator Posted May 9, 2016 #3 Share Posted May 9, 2016 (edited) No Carnival cruises planned for Europe in 2017...the sister to the Vista launches in 2018. Edited May 9, 2016 by cruizinator
nybumpkin Posted May 9, 2016 #4 Share Posted May 9, 2016 The last time Carnival sailed in Europe aside from a newbuild was 2013, when Legend did Mediterranean and Baltic itineraries (we sailed one of the Baltic cruises). It was a wonderful cruise, but I don't think it's Carnival's "bread and butter" cruise.
vwrestler171 Posted May 9, 2016 #5 Share Posted May 9, 2016 They have said that they are competing with themselves over there as their are several Carnival Corp lines over there
nissach Posted May 9, 2016 Author #6 Share Posted May 9, 2016 Oh thanks, did not realize that Carnival does not always cruise in Europe. I knew it was a new thing, but did not know it was connected to them launching a new ship. Shucks!!:( We were hoping to add a cruise to our planned Europe trip next summer. Guess I will have to look at other lines or jut skip the idea of a cruise along together. Thanks for all the feedback and clarification!
