Carnival Breeze Stateroom 6310

Recommended Posts

Hello!

I am looking for someone who has stayed in stateroom 6310 or something close to that or who has experience with deck 6! I have already read some good and bad things about being right above the promenade deck. Also I read about people getting free stateroom upgrades...how do you get those?

Thank you!!

I cruised on the Breeze back in October of 2015. My wife and I stayed in 6330 right over casino and the hot tub below. I'd book this room again, I didn't hear any loud noises from below. On occasion, you'd hear a muffled announcement but nothing at all that kept me awake at night, I'm an extremely light sleeper, so it was quiet for me. I don't think you'll have anything to worry about. :)

Taking all the reports in from people who have stayed on deck 6 on Dream class ships, some people like it, while many more people do not. Most of them that don't like it didn't like the lanai (the public deck) sticking out right below them, with part of their view of the ocean taken away & with people on the deck so easily able to see onto their balcony. I'm an inside person, so I really enjoy the lanai, but yes, I could see onto the balconies. Not that I was trying to, but I would take a look at empty ones, just to see how easy it was. Some people (but obviously not all) above hot tubs have said that it was horrible, with loud people late into the night in the hot tubs, but you aren't directly above a hot tub.

Some rates offered will allow you to get a higher up room for the same price as a lower room. That's what is sometimes meant by free upgrades. You could check to see if there are offers like that available for your sailing, and see if you can match to that offer for a higher up room. I would recommend deck 8, higher up from the lanai, and staterooms both above & below you, which is a good thing. The forward part of the ship will have staterooms both above & below on decks 9 & 10 as well. Even if you have to pay a little extra to move up, you might find that it was worth it.
