Diamond Princess cabins

Do all the balcony cabins have drop down beds? We are 6 people booked in 3 balconies. But my 3 teens would like to stay together. On other cruise lines this has not been an issue because the cabins had a sofa which could be used as a bed. On Princess there is a chair instead of a sofa. The deck plan does not show capacity for individual cabins. Thanks!

No they don't. I just did a quick look of the deck plans in my Cruise Atlas book and I'd say that most do not accommodate a third/fourth passenger.

 

If you've already booked, check with your TA or Princess.

Both those cabins are only for two persons. To see cabin capacity on the deck plans on the Princess web site, just use the drop-down box labeled Guests to select 3 (or 4) and cabins that hold only 2 will be faded out.

 

But even if your TBA third cabin has an upper berth it is unlikely the steward will make it up if there are only two persons rostered for that cabin.

A747 shows as a connecting cabin with A743. FYI, A743 shows as a quad.
