We have a flight home from FLL at 11:45..Debarking the Carribean Princess. If we grab a cab to port, are we ok? Our last cruise, (Century) we were at port at 9:30. We had docked at 7am.... icon_eek.gif

We are also on the Caribbean Princess next saturday. Ours is at 12:30 and we both will probably be alright. Of course there is a chance that something will delay either of us and cause a stressful ride home.

You should be fine.

I always make my flights at 11:30 and have always made them. The only time where it is very busy and the flight time may be too early would be around the holidays.

Make Sure they know your flight time as soon as you borad and ask for a Red 1 Ticket for disembarkation. This is the first ones off the ship.

This post has two or three brothers/sisters this week. Could be fine, probably fine, should be fine, but if you book later in the day, you worry less.

We had a 10:30AM flight off our Golden cruise out of FLL in March and made it to the airport by 8:30AM, plenty of time.

We did get the red early off tags for our luggage and checked the harbor masters report from the internet cafe to be sure there would not be too many ships in port. If there are 4 or more passenger liners in port at the same time cabs might be a problem but on an early off party there's usually plenty.

We have a private service we use anyway that's very reasonable and waiting there for us when we get off the ships.

If this were Miami it would be a different story but FLL is almost right across the street from Port Everglades.

You're fine...just get off early

Happy Cruising
