How to cave tube then do something not on the "choices menu".

So I am having a little bit of trouble figuring this out.

Two of us want to cave tube. But after that we want to go maybe to Blue Hole National Park. Or stop somewhere along the way.

It seems the tour guide is pushing for the zip line or ruins or something on HIS list of things to do.

I truly understand the logistics of making the most money from passengers. If your going to drive for an hour the company might as well have a full van.

It's just coming back that I want to do something different.

I have read reviews of people waiting until the rest of the group zip lines.

So my question is have you done tubing and then something off the grid so to speak?

I am currently waiting to hear back from the tour guide if he is able to do this and the cost.

I also understand if one throws enough money at the problem anything is possible! Lol

I am just hoping for a fair price from the guide for him and us.

In Costa Maya I was able to hire a driver for the day for $150.00

The down side of Belize is that many activities need a guide. (Thank goodness!)

Tourists would have the ruins torn apart!

They can do custom stuff like this. But do be cognizant of the time involved getting from one place to another and then back to the pier an hour before departure time (typically when last tender departures back to ship).

Both companies were responsive and friendly.

I decided to go with Reggies tours as they were a little less and they had more reviews.

The price was $100.00 pp for Reggie and $120.00 way to go tours. However, they included lunch.

I basically have hired a driver which included cave tubing.
