0715 if you self disembark(carry your own luggage), otherwise 0915.

When you self disembark, is there a big customs situation to go through, or do you just walk off? Thanks for your help - just trying to figure out if we'd have time to get to the Amtrak station for an 8:10 train

Where was your cabin? Were the drinks made well? Did you eat at any of the specialty restaurants? :)

At 7:15ish walk off disembarkation starts. You and a portions of the passengers will swipe through security to exit. You hope that the line you get in will not have "problem passengers" whose accounts are not closed because that will stop your line.

 

You slowly snake your way down the enclosed gangway, through the terminal and down the escalators to the baggage hall there, you get in line for customs.

 

Normally, customs officers are standing in front of their cubes, checking passports and declarations. Then out to the taxi line.

 

We had one instance where there were issues with a small group of passengers and customs held everyone for 45 minutes until hey could process that group. That was an isolated instance.

 

I know that I am rambling. Just trying to say that starting disembarkation at 7:15 does not mean you will be exiting the terminal at 7:20. We have been near the front of the line and have taken 20+ mins to get into a taxi. And we have taken over and hour to get to a taxi (self walk off from the Sky) twice.

Since it is open bar are there no waiters walking around the pool deck? I am happy to tip, but just want to know if it is even an option?

Yes there are waiters walking around - not many though. The bar at the pool has an order here line (sometimes 2 to 3) that goes quite fast since all they have to do is make your drinks and not take your card and run it through the cash register.

Has anyone ever done the 3 night cruise on NCL Sky? If so, did you go to the strip called "Fish Fry"? Which restaurant on Fish Fry did you find the best? Looking for Cracked Conch, and Conch salad. Any advise would really be helpful. Also, what is the earliest you can board the ship?
