crazy4cruzn Posted May 17, 2016 #27 Share Posted May 17, 2016 I usually prefer the buffet for breakfast, but O'Sheehans was open for breakfast on the last day (debarkation morning). I thought it might be crazy busy, but there was hardly anyone there and it was a very relaxing breakfast. (Not too many options, but worth it to me for the relaxed atmosphere.) TheDougOut Posted May 17, 2016 #31 Share Posted May 17, 2016 Is this on the regular menu, or can you get this late night? It was one of the rotating nightly specials, so I assume it's avail just during the dinner hours on the night it's offered.
Fido Chuckwagon Posted May 17, 2016 #32 Share Posted May 17, 2016 I do not think many days go by where I am not grabbing coffee and Danish at the Casino, bright and early, then a continental up at the buffet, Then a sit down breakfast at O Sheehans, and then about 9:30 get the wife up and out to have breakfast with her either in the dining room or at the buffet. The morning coffee and Danish is for waking around and getting my eyes opened. It sits in the back corner and most do not even know it is there. Lol Awesome. ColinIllinois Posted May 17, 2016 #41 Share Posted May 17, 2016 are there boneless wings too Never understood why they call them "boneless wings". Those are chicken nuggets. Wings have bones in them. :)
caribsun Posted May 17, 2016 #42 Share Posted May 17, 2016 How was the atmosphere watching sports at the bar in excited to watch NBA finals as well as stanley cup finals the the copa America if they show it when I'm on June 4-12 I was disappointed in the evening bar scene. I was expecting a Irish Pub vibe with music and Irish beer. Not ! You can sit along the rail and look one deck down at the big screen for sporting events. BGFootball55 Posted May 17, 2016 Author #43 Share Posted May 17, 2016 So they throw up sports on a big screen in the atrium? That's some good news
Burgmeister Posted May 17, 2016 #44 Share Posted May 17, 2016 Not sure what cruise itinerary you are doing BGFootball55, but I'm assuming you aren't Western Med on the Epic? If you are you should be aware that the Euro Championships start on the 10th and they may dominate any sport being shown on a European cruise. If you are doing a US based cruise then you will probably not even notice they are on!

disneyochem Posted May 17, 2016 #49 Share Posted May 17, 2016 I enjoy watching sports at the pub--pretty fun but a little bit more spread out than a normal sports bar. I enjoy watching games at one of the bars--great drink service and we bring trays off food over from the casino or buffet. In January, I watched the NFL playoffs on the first day in OSheehans and then in the atrium with hundreds of Packers fans!
johnrich Posted May 18, 2016 #50 Share Posted May 18, 2016 DW and I love O'Sheehan's. The chicken pot pie was unexpectedly good. Also love the fish and chips. When sitting at the bar, the bartenders always waited on us for the food as well as drinks. If sitting at a high top bar table or in the dining area we would be served by a server. The bartenders and servers at O'Sheehan's on the Getaway Were awesome! We did breakfast several days there as well.
