cruisegal415 Posted May 20, 2016 #1 Share Posted May 20, 2016 I'm trying to figure out transportation from the dock in Ibiza to one or more of the beaches and the Old Town area, but I can't find where the Riviera docks. On cruise timetables.com, it says "Ibiza town and harbor, Balearic Islands. Larger cruise ships dock by the outer harbor seawall - the Botafoc pier. Ibiza Old Town is a short shuttle bus ride away. Small ships may dock in the heart of Old Town by the Adosado or Levante quays. Is Riviera considered a larger or small ship?
Mura Posted May 20, 2016 #2 Share Posted May 20, 2016 An interesting question. I'd love too know the answer myself! At 1250 passengers, Marina and Riviera are tiny compared to the 4,000+ passenger ships ... but what the port deems "small" or "large", I have no idea. I'm sure that the older "R" ships (Regatta, etc.) would qualify as a small ship, but it might go either way with Marina and Riviera. I've been on Marina in ports where we had to tender but smaller ships were able to dock. Mura
