Checking luggage from Jewel to Seatac?

Hi all, I came across a reference to checking your luggage through to the airport when you return to port in Seattle. Specifically, it said to arrange this through Customer Service on board. Has anyone who has sailed on the Jewel done this? Would be great to have some time in Seattle without shlepping the suitcase around.

From what I know the program use to be called Bag's Program but was cancelled a few years ago.

I just got off of the Pearl and I can't think of a service like this that they offered. They do have a pier to airport transfer service, which includes your bags of course, and that costs $36 a person. But, that wouldn't help you much if you are hoping to spend time in Seattle.

 

The other suggestions I found when researching this same topic is to check your bags in at the port. It is supposedly $3/bag and they will hold them until around 3 pm. We considered this service but didn't end up using it. It was also suggested to rent a car for the day (about $40), store the luggage there and leave the car in the lot, then drive it to the airport when ready.
