momofslg Posted October 20, 2005 #1 Share Posted October 20, 2005 We are flying to San Juan in October 2006 for our cruise that we booked (through a TA) and are flying in the day of the cruise. I think we should change to fly in the day before. a couple of questions 1. How do we change our travel day? 2. Does the cruise line charge extra if you change the day? how much? thanks for your help
ahoymatey3 Posted October 20, 2005 #2 Share Posted October 20, 2005 It depends on the cruiseline. Most have some kind of custom air program. Most have charges. Sometimes, if you use their hotel their is no charge. If your a member of their loyalty programs there may not be a charge either. What cruiseline? ahoymatey3 Posted October 20, 2005 #4 Share Posted October 20, 2005 RCI's rules are probably similar to Celebrity's, since they are under the same corporate umbrella. Best to call them and ask about the fees. I ended up cancelling my custom air. Delta is in such a flux, and any time they changed flights, I couldn't just deal with the airline. I had to go through my TA, who had to go through Celebrity, who had to call the airline. What a mess. Here is a link to RCI's air page: http://www.royalcaribbean.com/customersupport/faq/airTravel.do;jsessionid=0000GugMf4uDvbFDt4MBLzzUzHf:10ktmerri There are a lot of threads here on CC, if you search on custom air.
