texas greeneyes Posted October 20, 2005 #1 Share Posted October 20, 2005 My sisters and I would like to have access to one another's cabins on the Conquest. Will they accomodate this by providing extra cards if we request them?
jckvpa0 Posted October 20, 2005 #2 Share Posted October 20, 2005 I wouldn't think it would be a problem.
cali-croozer Posted October 20, 2005 #3 Share Posted October 20, 2005 It might be a problem.......when we sailed on the Conquest in June, they would not issue extra room keys, no exceptions; didn't matter who I asked. My teens were in the room right next door to ours and I would have liked to have an extra key also. They said it was the Conquest's policy not to issue extra keys; I asked other parents in the same situation as ours and they didn't have any luck either. (they were booked in their own room so that didn't factor into the situation)
IBRelaxin2 Posted October 20, 2005 #4 Share Posted October 20, 2005 We have never had a problem getting a "key only" S&S card to acess the other rooms we had. Bring your sister down with you when you do it. It shouldn't be a problem.
wmsherwood Posted October 20, 2005 #5 Share Posted October 20, 2005 We've never had a problem getting an extra "key only" card, either. But you do need to have a person assigned to the room with you to get it.
cali-croozer Posted October 20, 2005 #6 Share Posted October 20, 2005 I was surprised (disappointed) when I couldn't get an extra key because, according to the posts here on CC, I thought it wasn't going to be a problem at all. Maybe the pursers on the Conquest were having a bad week? All I know is they wouldn't issue any extra keys when we sailed. I did write that on my comment card (I wonder if anyone reads the comments) because I really don't see the harm of family members having keys to each others rooms if they want them.
