Rare birdlord Posted May 26, 2016 #1 Share Posted May 26, 2016 Is there a place to find the dry docking schedule? And, even more importantly, the date of the last dry dock of a particular ship?

Rare birdlord Posted May 26, 2016 Author #3 Share Posted May 26, 2016 I've not seen a comprehensive schedule from the cruise line. I found some vague information, but nothing specific. Oh well, worth a shot.
klass2 Posted May 26, 2016 #4 Share Posted May 26, 2016 I've not seen a list either but there is a site that lists deck plans for each ship (and has lots of photos of cabins and the ship areas). If you click on each ship you can see when the ship was built and had its last dry dock. If you use the search function on this site you can search in this forum and put in the name of your ship and drydock and see what pops up. People here are pretty knowledgeable and the topic has probably been discussed.

chengkp75 Posted May 26, 2016 #6 Share Posted May 26, 2016 (edited) Is there a place to find the dry docking schedule? And, even more importantly, the date of the last dry dock of a particular ship? I've found this to be fairly accurate, don't know how often it is updated, so some changes may occur. If you look up the ship's entry into service date, it will be just about every 5 years up to age 15, then twice every 5 years, roughly 30 months apart. These are the statutory drydockings, emergency repairs and perhaps important "refurbishments" may include shipyard periods that many refer to as "drydockings".
