We are on our 11 day cruise March 13 2017 and have a stop in Puerto Limon Costa Rica... Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions for a nice safe beach...the tours I have found do not offer beach days... thanks in advance..:)

I have done that cruise this year and Puerto Limon are an industrial harbour.

We did a zipline tour that took us with bus through the city, it's a worn town and when we got back to the port we just stayed on the ship.

 

There might be nice beaches around but I didn't get a good feeling about Puerto Limon, don't know if my expectations was to high, but normally we are NOT the kind of people that stays on the ship when it's in port.
