Posh on Epic

Recommended Posts

What is Posh on Epic?

A private sun deck area that overlooks the pool. Has its own bar, water feature (that doesn't always work) loungers, etc. There are numerous levels you can ascend to from the main Posh area, all with loungers and cabanas.

This area is accessible by keycard only, and is included as part of any Haven booking on Epic. Passes to Posh can also be purchased the first day onboard, if you're fast enough. ;)

So the Haven shares this space with the Epic equivilant of the vibe from the escape? Is there guarenteed enough chairs?

It is the Haven's private sundeck and bar. Limited passes are available to non-Havens guests. No water feature. No cabanas.

It does have a mister running along the wall from the door to the bar area. It was broken for years, but has been fixed

It does have a water feature.

In this photo, you can see the stainless steel mesh drain running across the deck in front of it

In this photo, you can see the large white pipe running across the wall, directly behind the bar. That pipe provides a strong mist that you can stand in/under.

How much are Posh passes and where are they sold?

When I was on Epic I purchased a pass for the Posh Club area which is for adults only and paid $59 for the week - the best money spent as it was a lovely area to find peace and quiet, especially on sea day. The waiter there was cheerful and efficient and it was possible to also order food from the bar. For a swim in the pool it was just a quick ride down in the elevator to the pool deck.

Hope you manage to get a pass - you need to get to Guest Services as soon as possible after boarding as they are limited numbers.

Bought 2 passes on the May 4th sailing out of Rome. Our trip was unique in that there was a contingent of 3000 Chinese on a corporate getaway. They either didn't know about it or didn't want it, as they all boarded in Barcelona before us and when we got on-board at noon in Rome we walked right up and bought them no problem.

Are the loungers better? 100%

Is it cool to use that elevator? I guess...

Would I do it again? Probably not.

The issue is the wind. We found ourselves forcing our way out there to use it to "get our money's worth" and then heading back inside to avoid the gusts.
