Theme Nights

RC Freedom soon...I'm told certain nights are Themed. Are we to pack props, or how are we to know what attire to plan for..Hawaiian, etc.?

I know there is a 70's night, but very few, if any, guests dress for that.

Unless you're on some special themed cruise (like one featuring country music) or perhaps on a Halloween cruise, I don't believe you'll be expected to bring special clothing. Usually when I see a theme listed for dinner, it's a reference to the type of cuisine featured in the main dining room that evening, and the waitstaff would be attired to fit that theme. For example, on "Italian Night," the waitstaff will often be in outfits that match the Italian flag. Passengers will wear clothing fitting the dress code for that night (if on a ship that has smart casual, formal, etc.).

 

It would be a good idea to check the FAQs on your cruise line's website.

Most cruise lines have pretty much dropped theme nights as many people do not want to back extra clothes.

And when we did have them, very few people even dressed for them.
