Cruise leaves from Fort Lauderdale, would we fly to Miami?

Hello,

I will be taking my 4th cruise next summer, however it will be the first time using the cruiseline air package. The ship leaves from Fort Lauderdale, but since we don't know the flight times and airlines until a few weeks before, I have no idea when it would be. So my question is: even though the cruise leaves from Fort Lauderdale, would they possibly have us fly to Miami or somewhere else nearby and transfer us to Port Everglades? I had just assumed we would fly to the Fort Lauderdale airport, but then realized that might not be entirely true.

Thanks

They definitely might fly you into Miami. They will fly you into which ever airport has flights with the seats at their contract rate. For my 2nd cruise, which was out of Miami, the cruiseline flew us into Ft. Lauderdale and flew us out of Miami.
