Uber in Dublin

Recommended Posts

Yes I have used Uber in Dublin.

The Uber cars are really just taxis where the driver has signed up for the Uber platform to take some extra fares. It is therefore as safe as a normal taxi.

The cars are normal European taxi size so will take four passengers, but not really more than a couple of large suitcases.

As for charges, the Uber website has the definitive details, but not expensive. When I used them last year, port to the city centre was 10 Euro.

The same Uber app as you use in the US will work.

For anyone who hasn't used Uber before and wants to try them, the promotion code uber10creditfree will give a free 10 Euro ride.
