Another spoiler alert, we had an unexpected visitor... Babu the Entertainer. He was AWESOME - really funny and truly astounding tricks for us

Then, more courses!! We were absolutely stuffed by the end - even tho the portions are petite - could barely move - ha ha

That's it for photos

Other random thoughts...

Went to part of two shows - thought the entertainment was excellent

Never saw the CD!

NCL senior officers VERY visible and mingle with guests - did not experience this on CCL - not a big deal - just a noticeable difference

Casino servers were awesome - dealers were just OK - VERY smoky some nights - other nights it was bearable - slots were paying out reasonably well (whatever that means)

Ship temp was average - not freezing, not clammy! Didn't need sweater...

Noticeably NOT overwhelmed with annoying announcements all day as with NCL

Photos hard to find - posted all over Deck 4. Prefer NCL's portfolio and swipe system.

REALLY missed late night food venue - 24-hour O'Sheehan's/Blue Lagoon on NCL - yes there were late night snacks in the Deck 9 Aft along with lousy pizza but sometimes you just want a chicken wing at 2 in the morning after a good session at the Craps Table - ha ha

Did Anytime Dining - seated right away first and last night - waited a LONG time 2 other nights - received an apology note with goodies in the room for one of the nights

Sea Day Brunch is a must!!

Used Room Service two mornings (no charge vs. NCL) sort of used it as a wake up call - had breakfast on the balcony - very blissful

LOVED that we could carry on two bottles of wine - no corkage fee, etc.

Highly recommend that you pre-order a six-pack of bottled water for your cabin - CCL doesn't allow you to bring it on

Did NOT have Cheers package - got DOU cards in Casino - did pre-purchase $50 CCL Bar Credit with my CCL credit card points - that covered my glass of wine with dinner each nite!! Would do that again

Embarkation and debarkation were a BREEZE - not sure if it's CCL or Port Canaveral - but was remarkably smooth and quick

Used CORTRANS to get from port to MCO for flight home - EXCELLENT service - highly recommend and would use again

Stayed at Country Inn and Suites for two nights pre-cruise with an Alamo rental car - both good choices

That's my ramblings for now - please let me know if I can answer any questions for you.

Nice job. Sounds like you had a good time. We are still trying to decide about the Chef's Table. I'm kinda picky and my husband will eat anything so he doesn't think it will be worth it for me. Also, I think the menu is changing to the menu on the Vista and it doesn't look as good to me. Did you enjoy the new dining venues - Blue Iguana Cantina and Guy's Burgers?

I enjoyed the Valor. We were in rooms 7375 and 7377 balcony. Played tons in the casino. My husband got 1000 points the first night and got comped drinks for rest of cruise. He also got cookies delivered to the room, 2 upgraded dinners in the restaurant, and a free bounce back cruise offer which we are taking on 7/9 on the Magic. The Lido buffet was weird to me at times. Even the chocolate extravaganza, which you would think would be awesome, was not too hot either. This was my 2nd Carnival cruise, the first being the Destiny back in 2010.

The Hub app is not available but the new internet plans are starting at $5 a day. Here is a tip. We ported at Amber Cove and there is a coffee shop in the port that if you buy a cup of coffee ($3) they give you their wifi password. This was true at Margaritavile in Grand Turk. Unless it changes the password there is flipflop.

Did you use internet service and/or imessage to communicate onboard? Is the Hub app available on Valor, along with the new internet packages?

Didn't use it - not sure but... I don't think the Hub app is available on the Valor - didn't see it mentioned in any signage around the ship or in the Fun Times

Ha!! We went on this Valor cruise to celebrate our 35th Anniversary - I see in your Countdown that you are doing the same !!!

Chef's Table was a great experience - I highly recommend it. Probably wouldn't book it every time we cruise but glad we tried it.

Sorry didn't try Iguana Cantina - but I must say that hubby LOVED Guy's Burgers - sometimes there were huge lines other times it was wide open. Fun atmosphere with different maps on the table tops with notes from Guy on all the places he's visited on DDD

Thanks for the tip! Will definitely do that at Grand Turk. We aren't going to Amber Cove.
