Breakaway Deck12 Aft Interior

I booked connecting interior rooms and was wondering if anyone knows what is right above the interior staterooms on deck 12 Aft. On the deck plan map it shows an empty space for decks 13 and 14. I am thinking it might be galley area. Would like to know if it will be noisy because we have young children in the cabin.

Very likely to be Galley area for the Garden Cafe, and Butler's Pantry area for service to all the Aft Penthouses.

If you have youngsters, this may not be the best space for you. Any chance you can move to some of the connecting Inside cabins that are just slightly forward of those on the same deck? Those have cabins above them. ;)

AFAIK, there's no gallery on deck 13 AFT above you - not sure where your Insides are ?? It would be useful to be a little more specific to avoid a generalized response

One of our BA rooms in 2014 was in 1365X just forward of the elevators - small interior corridor (none of those connecting) with our BIL was on deck 11 AFT, but about half a dozen cabins forward - those white area are crew access, stairs/elevators, storage & supplies (and possibly sleeping cabins for the RS) - some of that vertical space from below the waterline are mechanical/ventilation, etc. Those space are far too small for a gallery to serve the buffet and in fact - you get to appreciate the space needed for all the operations like the gallery from our Behind The Scene ship tour.

Long story short, we didn't hear any noise, doors slamming or chairs & carts moving around, etc. Children will be fine & they will be close to the Splash Academy. Relax & enjoy your cruise.

I was on deck 11 furthest aft inside

It was loud and stuff was clanging the entire 12 days

Didn't care though because we always go for the cheapest Insides these days

We paid $2100 for an inside triple total for the cabin for 12 days. Lol

The aft balcony cabins and some sort of extra fancy aft corner cabin were literally only feet away from us so I wonder if they heard all the noise too

I know they didn't pay $2100 for 3.

They did have a nice view though which we saw when the steward propped the door open for cleaning. Lol
