Rock wall and keens

What are the footwear requirements for the rock wall? Do you wear your own shoes? Socks required? Can you where keens?

You have to wear socks and they provide you with the climbing shoes, which always make me think of elf shoes. Not sure what keens are but hopefully someone will be able to help you with that :-)

Keen is just a brand name, not so much a style. They make shoes and boots primary designed for hiking.

If you have your own climbing shoes and bring them, you can wear those--otherwise you use theirs (and have to wear socks--bring your own or sometimes they have them for sale to those who pack no socks, but they are not cheap).

 

I am not sure what Keens are, but unless they are climbing shoes (not a hiking boot, etc) then, no, you cannot wear them

I live in Keens. Mostly the sandals. They have a very strong rubber reinforced toe, which makes them great for hiking. Doubt very much that toe would be good for rock climbing.
