summersigh Posted June 20, 2016 #26 Share Posted June 20, 2016 The internet minutes were an Anniversary perk with the reservation of a suite - not a verandah, OV or inside.
Alberta Quilter Posted June 20, 2016 #27 Share Posted June 20, 2016 We got $400 per person plus our stock. Hotel service charge included so can't use it for that; 100 internet minutes per person, so can't use it for that; $50 beverage card per person. My husband doesn't drink and I don't drink "much" so hoping to use it for excursions maybe. Or if we meet a really nice couple on board will buy them some drinks! We have an active roll call so I'm sure somehow it will get used! :D My DM and I will happily volunteer to help you out with this dilemma, on our cruise!!:D:D Seriously, with the beverage cards, there's always the specialty coffee at the Explorations Cafe or you could buy cookbooks/towel animal books there too with the beverage cards. Those could be useful for gifts for people back home.
Retired 07 Posted June 20, 2016 #28 Share Posted June 20, 2016 We are planning to take a 14 day Northern Europe cruise next year. We got a "special offer" promo from HAL. Offering $800 pp air credit, 150 pp obc, gratuities paid, and a beverage card if we book before 6//30/16--I did a mock booking for a vista suite without putting in my mariner #, and the price was $4279. Then I put in my mariner # and the price went up to $5699! A$1420 difference! The perks don't even add up to that much! Since we probably wouldn't even get full use of the beverage card, we decided to skip the "special offer"
