flossie009 Posted June 17, 2016 #1 Share Posted June 17, 2016 Many loyal, repeat customers like to book their cruises early. However, it can then be annoying if you then see 'late deals' being offered in the form of price discounts, suite upgrades, flight upgrades etc...........especially if these occur after final payment has been made What is Regent's policy with regard to retrospective application of late deals to existing bookings? Do customers booking on-board receive a 'price guarantee'?
Randall Soy Posted June 17, 2016 #2 Share Posted June 17, 2016 Great question Flossie. Our philosophy has always been to encourage and reward those who book early. We are still deploying our quarterly price increases as well. Realistically, there are times when demand for a certain voyage requires additional attention and we try and attack by increasing our value-add offerings as we have our Free Land programs in Asia as an example. Occasionally when price action is required , we offer some concessions , generally in the form of a shipboard credit or upgrade to mitigate the gap. However if I, and our team, are doing our jobs well, we create programs with exciting itineraries and value that these situations are minimal.
