party of 4 airport to hotel Barcelona

We will be a group of 4 - with probably 5 pieces of luggage (4 carry-ons and one larger). What would be our best bet to get from the airport to our hotel? Taxi? Also, what about from the hotel to the port? And the port back to the airport? Too many questions? Do any taxis even accomodate 4 with luggage?

Taxi standards in Barcelona are relatively high. New vehicles are being added all the time and the taxi coordinator at the airport or port and the door staff at your hotel will help you to get a taxi that will fit you and your baggage.

 

They have finally released the Barcelona taxi page mostly in English and there is a lot of information there.

Taxi from BCN Airport to central Barcelona should cost about 30 euro. Nice and easy. The port is within 5 km of most hotels. We were in BCN last month and our hotel ( Granvia on Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes) cost us no more than 10 euro. The port is in between the airport and central BCN so the return to the airport from the port will be less than 30 euro. Good luck! If you're still looking for a hotel the Granvia was absolutely wonderful.
