Boardwalk balcony soda pkg exchange on Harmony

We have a boardwalk balcony on our upcoming Harmony cruise in November. As part of their promotion, we will receive free soda package for 2. Since I have already pre-purchased an alcohol drink package, would they refund the price of the soda package as OBC?

I'm going Thanksgiving week on Harmony and am getting a free bottle of wine with my Central Park cabin. I don't drink and am hoping they will give me the soda pkg instead. Guess not.

We have this perk + with our boardwalk balcony cabins in March too....This is not (any of it) exchangeable for OBC.

You would have been better waiting until onboard and then upgrading. That's what I did, had select package as booking perk and then onboard just paid the difference as upgrade.

I considered waiting until I got onboard and then upgrading, but was worried about them jacking up the package prices which would obviate any savings. I realize that the phantom 20% off package price isn't truly 20% off, but it at least locks things in. Who knows, I may cancel the week before our cruise if onboard prices are lower.
