maxx Posted October 23, 2005 #1 Share Posted October 23, 2005 Does anyone know if you can change your dinner seating once the cruise has started? We are getting so many mixed opinions about which seating to go to & I am getting so confused. I have changed the request so many times my TA is starting to think I've gone crazy. karmac Posted October 23, 2005 #2 Share Posted October 23, 2005 I'm not sure about that maxx, maybe if you asked your TA or P & O. When I sailed on the Fairstar I was on 2nd sitting and on the last night some guy wanted me to have dinner with him and he was on 1st sitting so I changed that night. We have booked for 2nd sitting because as I said that's what I was on last time and I never once regretted it. We didn't even contemplate 1st sitting this time. Mind you, even at home we don't eat until around 7. I hate having dinner too early and especially when I'm likely to be having a pretty big lunch. Neicy& Ron Posted October 23, 2005 #3 Share Posted October 23, 2005 Yes they can be changed once on board. People often move about till they find a group they are comfortable with. Regards Neicy & Ron
cruisebore Posted October 23, 2005 #4 Share Posted October 23, 2005 Traditional dining where personal choice is also offered, is usually oversubscribed. This limits the amount of flexibility in the system. It is almost impossible to move from 1st to 2nd sitting. Regards Cb
