Booking question

Has anyone purchased their cruise through one of the other travel sites (expedia, orbitz, Travelocity) instead of through the line itself? Is there a difference? Can you still log into your cruise line account and see the cruise? I've only been on one cruise (with a different line) so this line is all new to me, but I can get a better deal through one of the other sites. Thoughts?

I have used others and can log into my account/cruise in RCL website

It's against the rules to mention specific travel agents here, but yes you can still log in and see the cruise online, book entertainment etc
