Transportation from Manaus to Quito?

Hi - we are ending a cruise in Manaus and had hoped to visit Ecuador prior to returning to Seattle. Does anyone know of an airline that would fly to Ecuador from Manaus?

 

The only flights I have found require returning to the US and then going back to Ecuador - there must be a better way.

Nancy, I don;t have specific info for you but do

suggest that you check the regional carriers such as

TAM, Varig, GOL. We were trying to get INto Manaus

and there were only 'long' choices.

Thanks for the info. All the flights I can find require lots of stops and are very expensive. BUMMER
