What to do in Belize City?

Hi. I'm a 30 yo male going to Belize City on the Norwegian Getaway in October 16. I haven't seen any excursions on NCL that I like. I was planning on staying on the ship and having a few drinks. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on what to do for the day? I'm looking for something fun and something I can do by myself as I will be on my own. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. :):):)

What time of things do you like to do? Land or sea?

When you say looking for something "fun" to do...the first thing that comes to my mind is the excursion that you go swimming with the sharks and stingrays (called shark-ray alley) and then they go to Caye Caulker. But, this might not be what you consider fun. :p It's a great experience.

Another fun and popular thing to do is the cave tubing. A lot of people do this when in Belize because it's not something you will find in other ports. We've done it twice now.

The only other thing we have done there is visit some of the small islands they have in the area (Goffs Caye and Starfish Island, which use to be called Bannister Island).

I have reviews in my signature line if you'd like to take a look. They are loaded with pictures as well. :)

If you enjoy snorkeling, taking an excursion to their barrier reef (2nd largest in the world) is an excellent thing to do. :)

If you just want to "hang out" in the secured port area, you'd probably enjoy going to the Wet Lizard. :D
