Excursions Not Available Less Than Four Months Out

We rarely book excursions through the cruise line, but do look at them to give us ideas and will book if there is no independent option. However, no excursions are available for our November 6 cruise at this time. I get a message stating excursions are still being organized. Its not like we are going to unique destinations (Nassau and Freeport!)so what gives? We have been to both and understand they are very easy to do on our own, just curious. We were able to book excursions much further out on our last cruise.
