NCL - Beach, Chair & Shared Umbrella

I noticed on the NCL Shore Excursion site, they offer this for $29 each, and I was wondering if it is worth it. I've read that the entrance fee is $5 each; chairs are $10 each, and umbrellas are $10 each, for a total per couple of $40 if we do it alone vs. $58 through the cruise ship. Do you get anything extra - like priority, guaranteed chair/location, etc, by going through the ship?

Snorkel Park Beach is a man made beach at the Dockyard. The only reason I would go there would be if there was a general strike of all transportation drivers so I couldn't get to Horseshoe Bay. From the description on the excursion web page, the customer selects the spot for the lounge chair and umbrella. Get there early so you can get a good spot for your 4 hour stay.
