What time can we board?

We are traveling on Escape 7/31 which ships out at 4 pm. How early can we check in and actually board the ship?

Boarding usually starts just before midday. People start arriving a while before that.

 

We usually arrive at around 11am and are usually in the first few groups to board at around midday.

 

This answer isn't specifically for the Escape. It's generally the same for all ships and boarding ports.

General boarding starts at 11:30 am. The check-in times on your eDocs is really not enforced. Early arrivals board by boarding group. As you get to the waiting area, you are handed a boarding group number and wait for your group to be called.

 

The Escape uses both Terminal B and C (depending if you are on an odd or even number deck). Both terminals board simultaneously.

 

We normally show up around 10:45 to beat the crowds and maximize our time on the ship. That usually gets you a boarding number in the 10's.
