RCCL shuttles for Dubrovnik and Valletta

Recommended Posts

We're sailing on the Rhapsody of the Seas in October and were wondering if anyone knows if there is a shuttle in Dubrovnik and Valletta that would take us downtown. Also is there any shopping at the ports in case we don't want to take an excursion. Mainly just souvenir shopping. :)

Not sure about Dubrovnik but in Valetta the ships dock right next to the city centre. You can either walk up a hill and steep steps up to the main road leading into the City or take the elevator just down the road which takes you up to the city level. There is plenty of shopping in Valetta for souvenirs and also beautiful handcrafted jewellery. My wife and I have holidayed in Malta a few times and love Valetta.

RCI runs a shuttle bus into the city think it was about $12 return per person.

If there are four of you a taxi would be cheaper and not a lot of difference and easier if only two persons.

Dubrovnik is excellent and easy to explore on your own and definitely worth walking the city walls again cannot remember how much it was to walk them but about €12 to €15 per person.

Great shopping inside the city walls along with cafés bars and restaurants.
