Hyatt Pier 66 - FLL

Hi All,

 

Just read this piece on the hotel's website regarding Wilma news:

 

"The Hyatt Regency Pier Sixty-Six is not accepting reservations or arrivals at this time and expects to re-open October 27th. The Boat show has been canceled. Cancellation fees through 10/27 have been waived. The hotel has reported loss of power as of October 25th."

 

Sounds like if there was damage, it wasn't substantial. Which is good since they've just renovated.

They must be open now, as I just booked with them for my pre-cruise in June-anyone stayed there in the past, if so, what can you tell me?? I got a great deal with Priceline for 2 rooms in June-$75 each for $160 rooms!!

 

I have heard there may be some mold issues-yuck!!! But I also know that they just remodeled, and the pool is still closed until next month due to remodeling.

 

Any info much appreciated.

Hyatt Pier 66 has reopened, and the boat show has NOT been cancelled.
