WannaCruiseSoon Posted October 26, 2005 #2 Share Posted October 26, 2005 Yes Ben and Jerry's ice cream costs extra But you can get ice cream for free in the dining room and the soft serve machine thru-out the ship. (altho not the many flavors that B&Js offers)
coast2coast Posted October 26, 2005 #3 Share Posted October 26, 2005 Yes it does, althought I don't know how much it costs. When I was on the Mariner and Explorerer, Ben and Jerry's never seemed to be open- problem with the freezers not keeping the ice cream cold or something... Ocean Boy Posted October 26, 2005 #4 Share Posted October 26, 2005 There is a charge and it is quite hefty for the very tiny scoop of ice cream that you get.

cruznsugs Posted October 27, 2005 #6 Share Posted October 27, 2005 it was around $4 for a cup of ice cream. The prices went up from there(waffle cone or sundae). Kind of alot. There was around 12 different flavors, my favorite(heath bar) wasn't there so I wasn't interested. The ice cream machines that they do have near the pool deck is soft serve but it's not what we know as soft serve (for ex. carvel). Its some sort of ice milk. I did get real ice cream in the dining room (had a banana carmel sundae at lunch on day) and Johnny Rockets (oreo cookie Sundae) both were wonderful.
