Anyone have experience w getting a bb offer and the date you want disappear (within hrs of checking availability) and calling Carnival and being able to book those wanted dates w bb offer? If so, who did you call, Carnival or casino offices?

I called the day after I got off the ship with my BB offer, and all the ships, Magic, Sunshine, Valor, all from Port Canaveral, were booked from June to December, the last date of my offer. I called the casino department. So, I called every day for a week, and ONE cruise opened up in September, so I took it, but I called every day for the next week to try and get something in Oct, Nov or Dec, which we prefer. Nothing opened up, and I only had the two weeks to book it. Next time I will call the day I get off the ship. I don't know if there were openings in Miami or FLL, because we only wanted to sail from Port Canaveral.

Twice that has happened to me where I tried to pick a cruise from what was available from the bounce-back offers available, but before I could find airfare and arrange time off work, the offers disappeared. Availability is constantly changing, so continue to check frequently before the offer expiration, and then jump on one you are interested in. And especially the more popular itineraries will disappear fast. Last year I had a bounce-back and found Bermuda was available, but then it disappeared. I was very disappointed. But I found Alaska this year and quickly booked it before it was gone.

A Bounce Back offer is from the casino. On the last nite, if you have played a good bit of money during the week, they will either give you a letter in the casino or put it under your door. All according to your play, you will be offered a free cruise, with an inside, OV or balcony stateroom. You have two weeks to book it and you can sail on available cruises that are up to 6 months away. Just make sure you put your sign and sail card in the slot machines or give it to dealers when you buy in for chips.
