We want a DIY beach day in Mallorca - we sailing on the Carnival Vista.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

We 2 adults and 2 kids- age 7 and 10- so want a family beach.

Thanks in advance[/

We went to PalmaNova. It was a 10 minute bus ride from where our ship docked. It was really nice. Fairly large and kid oriented. 1 umbrella and 2 chairs to rent was 13 Euros. But there were actually a lot of large trees so if you wanted to save a bit of money, lay your towels down in the nice shaded area near the back. There were lots of water sports and kid things to do. Lots of restaurants, cafes, places to eat and drink right off the beach. Right off the street there are tons of restaurants and shops.

There is another beach close to PalmaNova called Magaluf. This one is supposed to be be known as the party beach. We didn't go but we heard it was really nice but smaller than PalmaNova and our guide said PalmaNova waas just as nice.

Have fun!!!
