Really enjoying your review .Especially helpful are your postings of the spa and hairdressing prices. We sail Splendida next month.

Sailed on the Emerald Princess a few months ago and my sister paid $60 just to have her hair put up in a French pleat:eek:(no wash/blow dry). MSC prices seem much more reasonable.

Great photos.

a lot of italians on board so makes perfect sense :-)

I posted this on the german forum aswell as someone asked for promotions for the spa.

There were some every day, very often upto 50% off:

those are the prices for a balinese massage

(there were of course also other reductions for facials etc.)

day VI: 55 min. 63 € (instead of 126 €)

day V: 30 min. 42 € (instead of 70)

day IV: 30 min. 49 €, 55 min for 63 €

day III: 30 min. 42 €, 55 min 75 €

day II: 30 min. 55 €

day I (embarkation day): buy 2 massages get 10 % off; 4 massages 20 %; 6 massages 30 % off.

Thanks for the quick reply.

I am thinking of buying a prepaid package as they look like good value as the service charge seems to be included.

This sounds good:

PLATINUM RELAX

Personal consultation*

Welcome Herbal Tea

Bali Massage 45 mins

Specific facial treatment 60 mins

Entrance to Thermal Spa for the duration of the cruise.

We are UK based and the price on the MSC website if we pre pay is £135 (approx 156 euros) so I think thats a pretty good deal.

Although the package I would really like is this one:

ALL EXCLUSIVE

Personal consultation*

Welcome Herbal Tea

Candle Massage 50 mins

Hymalayan Dream , massage with fossil salts from Hymalaya 45 mins

Aurea del mare , massage with shells 50 mins

Entrance to Thermal Spa for the duration of the cruise.

That is £195 (226 Euros)

Hopefully I can talk my hubby into treating me for Christmas!
