wannagonow123 Posted August 7, 2016 #1 Share Posted August 7, 2016 Do you use your card for lights and TV, or can you just use a switch. Also, do they have DVD players still? Sometimes we like to chill out and watch a movie in our room. ( I bring a few classics along).

0bnxshs Posted August 7, 2016 #3 Share Posted August 7, 2016 Donny-Joe is correct, any card of the same size will suffice. There are no DVD players and no inputs available to use. They do have available titles on the interactive TV system for viewing at no charge.
Rare Ken the cruiser Posted August 7, 2016 #4 Share Posted August 7, 2016 We just got off their 14 day Norway cruise and we used our room card to activate the light system which definitely cuts down on wasted power when you are not in the room. As far as the lack of a DVD player, they had plefty of preloaded movies of all types, TV shows, cool documentaries to include a bunch of BBC Earth films. Definitely, plenty of stuff to pick from when you want to chill out in the room.
theduffys Posted August 8, 2016 #5 Share Posted August 8, 2016 We also just got off the Kdam last week. Since we did not want the air off while we were off the ship, we just used my Aetna insurance card.
linpt Posted August 11, 2016 #6 Share Posted August 11, 2016 Just off the Koningsdam cruise to Norway. In addition to the movies and TV shows on the TV in your room, I would highly suggest that you catch a performance on the World Stage. IMHO, the best show by far was the one entitled FROZEN, It was BBC Earth clips of the Artic and Antarctica- scenery, animals etc on the wide screens along with a live 10 piece orchestra playing the music commissioned to go with it.
