Civitavecchia to Rome Airport - How Long

I didn't actually go from the airport to the ship or vice versa as I arrived in Italy a day prior to the cruise and stayed after the cruise was over. I hired a private car to take me from my hotel in Rome to the ship and back again. I did however ask the limo driver how long the trip was from the airport to the pier or vice versa for my own reference and he told about one hour. The time they will let you off the ship will depend on the time you tell them you have to catch your flight. People with an earlier flight will be let off first. There were people leaving the ship by 8:00 AM, perhaps earlier. We weren't in a rush since I had scheduled the limo to pick us up at 9:00 AM. The cruise line charges $80 per person for the airport transfer. The limo was 140 Euros, almost the same price for a private car.
