How to find out if your room has obstructed view??

How do I find out if I have an obstructed view on a balcony room?

 

Room 7624 on the Grandeur...

 

Read on a post that this room, on a sister ship, is obstructed.

 

I sure hope our room isn't:confused:

PS I visited RCCl site and looked at some other ships. They note the obstructed rooms under the category. I wonder if they list all the obstructed views?

I have never heard of an obstructed balcony. The lifeboats on Grandeur are many decks below the balconies.

Did the post say what the obstruction was on the room in the other ship?

I would say check with your TA if you are really worried.

I looked at an RCI brochure with the deck plans and I saw nothing.

But do call.

On Splendour, 7624 is listed as obstructed. But while Splendour is a sister ship it has slightly different deck plans. The Granduer deck plans only list 7150 and 7650 as obstructed.

Is it because 7624 on Splendour is the last balcony? Perhaps it is obstructed by the hull of the ship curving around? That would make sense.

7624 on Grandeur is more toward the middle. Should be fine.

I was in the last balcony rooms on the side of Grandeur and even those were not the least bit obstructed. Must be a slightly different struture to the sister......I know me and my sister have a different structure!
