I hope somebody can explain a section of the menu to me. At the bottom section on Sushi & Sashimi Menu it reads "Your choice of 6 items as an appetizer or 12 as an entree". Does this mean one can order 6 items from this section and still order an entree ? I am looking at the rolls and for example a standard Rainbow roll is quite large, so are the rolls and sashimi from the Tamarind small/mini portions maybe ?

Yes indeed! The 6 count as your appetizer and you can order an entree.

The rolls are of typical size. We all ordered an appetizer, a bit of sushi, and a main course. We didn't like the wine selections on the menu in Tamarind so out wine guy ran down to the main dining room to get us a bottle of wine we liked (twice). We really enjoyed the meal and the view as we left Geiranger was fabulous.

I am not sure what menu you are looking at, but when we were on the Eurodam last fall, there were only 5 Rolls listed under Futomaki.

We had a different menu compared to other years.
