same price 25 years later

I am guessing that the price of alcoholic drinks has also increased over the years. There is also the internet charges and the hotel service charge.

And, let's not forget, this "biggie". HAL used to allow us to bring onboard unlimited quantities of wine. Pax were often seen loading on cases!

 

That came to an abrupt halt about 2 1/2 years ago. Caused a huge uproar, as you recall. So much so they modified it a bit...but not enough to prevent another money maker. Limited the carry on number to a bottle per passenger per cruise. And assessing an $18 per bottle corkage fee for anything over that amount. I don't know about you but on our cruises since, that has been adhered to strictly.

 

I know it was shortly after our Med/TA cruis in October of '13.
