Port Canaveral parking voucher program

Anyone had any trouble using the 40% discount parking voucher program at Port Canaveral? Was thinking about booking at one of the partner hotels in order to park at the port. We typically park with Park n Cruise.

We live about 4hrs north of the port. We used goportcanaveral got a hotel for the night b4 cruise and they have parking at hotel. Then They will shuttle you to the port. We paid $110 for the hotel,parking and shuttle. Good luck.

We have used it a couple of times, worked very well.

We used it in May. Stayed at a comfort in, did not have a reservation, we checked in and asked for the voucher. Ninproblem at the hotel or 5he port. And nice when we got off the boat not having to wait for a shuttle bus. Enjoy your trip.

Used it in January, no problems - parking attendant registered the 40% discount, we paid the balance in cash.

Used it several times on different cruise lines. We prefer to park at the port and the voucher makes it more affordable.

Thank you for asking this question. I enjoyed reading everyone's replies since we've booked a hotel with the parking voucher rate for May. We've always used the Port Canaveral hotels with free parking & shuttles but last time we saw how convenient the parking garage is. Looking forward to trying something new!

We met the same couple twice at America's Best Value Inn in Cocoa- not Cocoa beach. They live in the Tampa area and park their car for $30 at the hotel the day of the cruise. They then take the hotel's shuttle to and from the port. We spend the night for under $100 but they just park there. This used to be an Econo Lodge- rooms are clean and they have a small, free breakfast

With a discount coupon we paid 40ish dollars for a 4 night cruise. Easy to use.

port has been very friendly with this program

 

I suspect they are trying to drive the offsite parking places out of business as port still says empty parking spots is top of their concerns (lost revenue)
