Med Cruise - Bringing Alcohol onboard

Hi,

I'm wondering if you're still able to bring alcohol onboard on embarkation and port stops? I know people have done so in the past, but am wondering what cruisers experiences have been in the last 30 days? We'll be on the September 13th cruise out of Athens.

Yes, people are still bringing it on.

Have also heard that it is still allowed. We plan on testing it out at embarkation.

I didn't bring it on at Athens, but we bought 2-3 bottles in every port and brought it on without problem. If you don't bring your own corkscrew, you can call room service and they will send someone up with one and there wasn't a corkage fee. We tipped the server though because he insisted on opening it for us.
