Cabin Change

Help fellow cruisers...I am a first time cruiser. I have an interior cabin booked on deck 6 of the Freedom and am considering upgrading to an OV cabin. The new cabin will more than likely be on either deck 1/deck 2 of the ship. The upgrade will cost about $100 total for the two of us. I've never been on a ship and am curious as to whether the change in location is worth it. Please advise!!!

You will be gaining natural light for the morning / daytime hours you are in the cabin and gaining more square footage from 185sf to 220sf plus a full size sofa and coffee table.

Nothing wrong with deck one or two. Think mid ship for location.

Nothing wrong with either, although, on deck 6, depending on where your cabin is located, you are above Promenade Deck, and it might be a bit noisy, where decks one, and two are far more likely to be quiet. You might enjoy having the daylight, and the slightly larger cabin as well. Check on your cabin location, and what's directly below it, and for me, that would make the decision, one way, or the other. ;)

$100 total to go from an inside to ocean view is a great deal! Definitely take it, and enjoy the view! :)

I would choose natural light also, I do get a great nights sleep in an inside but I do enjoy waking up looking out the window. Go for it.

Thanks for the advisement. I think the financial "sacrifice" is definitely worth the investment!!!
