Formal Night on UAE cruises

We are accustomed to the formal/informal approach on previous MSC cruises in the Med and tend to go with the flow and wear our smartest casual on formal night.

We are booked on Fantasia on 24th December from Dubai and wonder whether a different mix of passengers will change things and we should pack full regalia, and whether Christmas will make any difference.

Any advice would be appreciated.
